2013 is over. You do not have 10 days left. You missed it.
I declare that it is done. For anything you wanted to do by the end of the year, it is too late. Find everyone effected and apologize.
2014 doesn’t start for 10 more days. Make resolutions, but more importantly make plans. Set deadlines.
You now have 10 free days to celebrate. I suggest that you again thank everyone who has helped you step forward in 2013. If you feel like you haven’t come forward, thank everyone who helped you look up. If you can’t look up, thank everyone who’s supported you. If you are alone and miserable, send me a private message, you are on my friends list for a reason.
Stop whining. You have 10 days to pack up the memories you want to take with you and say goodbye to the others. Pack well. Choose wisely. If you bring the bad into 2014 it is your fault.
2014 will have enough bad stuff of its own. There is no need to pack your own bad stuff. Bring a toothbrush and floss. Pack some good books. Clean underwear is highly advisable, you never know you may end up in an accident and you don’t want the hot nurses seeing dirty drawers. But the bad stuff, pack it up. Come back to the storage locker and visit it every now and again if you must. If you keep doing this year after year, you’ll never want to go back to that storage locker.
It is a cheesy analogy, but powerful advice.
